Active spolier with fmic?

Hey all

Is it poss to fit the active spoiler permanantly in the down position if ive got a fmic??

From what I can remember you can but youu have to decide one or touther cause the fmic does not allow it to be active unless there r some new intercoolers out there.

The active spoiler as a unit is a monster, you don't realise how big it really is till you drop it from the car.

I think the normal thing to do would be, purchase a front lip and sell the active spoiler.

Fixing the active spoiler in the down position I'd imagine would be quite simple, park the car, lower the spoiler and disconnect the motor whether by pulling a fuse or pulling the wire.

I don't know exactly what the issues are with having an active spoiler with a front mount is, I'd guess it would be to do with how shallow the ic would need to be.

Adz, is this for Michaels black one you bought?
From looking at the picture, It already has a fmic and a lip.....

umm i though micheal removed the spoiler because of the FMIC, hence it wont go up or down. I just want it in the down position. an aftermarket. lip just doesnt look quite the same

Not going by the for sale picture link you put up. The active spoiler is clearly there all be it just the lip.

I think what your wanting to do has already been done.
