I think standard size is 4" in the front, and IIRC 6.5" in the back. Many people fit 6.5" in the front using a custom-made bracket.

What's your budget? If you're looking for some sensible but nice sounding 2-way speakers, you can't go wrong with Infinity reference or Infinity Kappa.

how much are each of them? i want it to all sound decent but it don't have to be comp grade stuff, don't want to spend to much if poss (still got the car to pay) but will splash out a bit if hear somethings worth the money,
can i run them with a 1000w fly sub or are you better sticking to the same name?
and does anyone know where i can get a decent double din cd player that'll run a cd changer?
i've got bad luck buying ice, can't handle my s**te sounding systems any more

The stock front speakers arn't that bad, just put some good rears in (which is easy to do), and use a decent head unit that plays MP3.

Why do you need a CD changer when you can get 12 hours of music on one CD ? - the digital sound quality is so much better.

Next - get a loud exhaust and an air induction kit. You won't bother with the stereo then.

make the bracket for the fronts and pop some 6.5 focal components in. they sound awsome. dont bother with the back ones and do a boot build with 2 12in subs and focal amp

I must agree with Pablo, I'm running Focal 17cm components in front doors powered by a Rockford Fosgate 25.2 Punch Amp with a Rockford Fosgate HD2 12inch sub built into a custom boot build powered by 2x Rockford Fosgate 50.1 Amps and a Rockford Fosgate 1-Farad digital capacitor. Spend your money wisley, it depends if you want to appreciate good quality crisp sound of if you want to compete with the chav's at Maccy D's
