Electric Ariel Woes
Having a problem with the ariel, it goes up when the stereo is turned on - but just goes down on its own 15-20 seconds later (loosing the signal).
The stereo is one of those Sony double din CD/Cassette units they used to fit in the 98 Avensis. I can't figure this one out, and am on the verge of ripping it out and fitting a fixed (bee sting) type. Any bright ideas ? I seem to remember Baz fitted one of these, where did it come from ? |

I think the bee-sting jobby Baz used was from a local auto-part shop, similar thing on ebay:

Try a new aerial 1st but it could be a problem with the head unit which just arent worth repairing these days
