I'm going to try and avoid the hassle of removing the headlights and having to take them apart to clean them as long as possible. If they look pretty good like this then I'll save the irritation of having to clean them more thoroughly.

This is the second time I've polished them and each time the finish is becoming more and more glass-like.

Yes i saw a thread about cleaning them by taking apart before but i just aint got the patience do do that (i took both 300zx rear lights apart once to put in clear tailight lenses and got covered in black tarry gunk and burnt fingers lol)
Going to try the polishing routine to clean em and mine has slowly started getting clearer as well-I save time though as i only have to do the nearside one!lol

i tried this today with t-cut and beggar me it really works... a few more sessions oughta do it about 15mins per light... nice one...100% marked improvement.

Great stuff mate.

I reckon three goes and I'll have my lights about as good as they're going to get. I keep looking at them and I really do think they probably look not far off as good as when they left the factory now.

my effort so far, not up to your standard flynn but getting there, also 100% improved on when i got car..

Mate, they look pretty good to me.

At very low light levels mine still do look a little yellow. That'll be on the inside though.

cheers,yeah i reckon to get them perfick would involve dismantling, but i can live with the way theyre turnin out . ill keep at it for a couple more times see how far i can go.. pulled up beside a soop in the car park at asda t"other day, and his were yellow as hell, i felt like gettin me polish out.........haha ... but i never did.. maybe i will next time.. cant resist...its all your fault....ive gone polish mad.....MAD I TELLS YE!!!! ahem..... sorry

whats funny about your statement is ..ive been thinkin about it... and ive noticed how nice and shiny your motor looks.....NO!!!! stop it... i know whats happenin im a bit tipsy,, and also compulsive(according to my g/friend,,) haha
