Just been on the phone to livingstones and im afraid i got the trainee think we possibly got there in the end after 45 mins but hey the girls gotta learn sometime ( Briggitte ). Nothing on there system from me so the online quote doesnt seem to work.
Funny how the 1st question is always, is it an import, then after telling them no its a uk spec mkiv auto tt with mods, next question i get is,,,, is it an RZ ? Had an amuzeing 45 mins explaining whats been done, trying to get quote on 7500 limited mileage, fully comp, me only to drive, garaged overnite, full ncb, 43yrs old, clean liscence, no accidents, lots of previous fast car history ie Alpina B3.2, Alpina B10 3.5, 2002 Turbo, 2 Mkiv Uk TT's over 6 yrs, oh and 1 arm that works hence my cars have to be auto's. ?we'll find out tomorow

Sorry to hear that Dunk. Would be interested to hear what sort of premium you end up with after doing the proverbial phone around.

No worries Martin it does supprise me though when you compare Alex's quote to mine.
I'll never figure out insurance comps ( brokers ) there reasoning behind your quote allways amazes me. Thanks for your efforts and Emma's in setting it up, if a few members get a good deal then its worth it. I'll get my trade insurance to come out and hav a look and see if they can do anything but wont hold my breath. Not lookin forward to the phone session. Looks like its elephant for me only kiddin Martin

i have had a quote off livingstones, which is very good provided i dont have a bump, my premium last year off those that quote you happy, with no restrictions was ?850 + ?100 excess which in the event of a shunt was ?950. Livingstones with lots of restrictions is ?450 with an excess of ?500 which if i have a shunt comes to ?950, i have now to go back to Norwich to see if i can neg. a better deal with the same restrictions as livingstones and see what they come up with. also livingstones want a copy of my club mem. card before i get discount, as we have no cards has anyone had a prob. with this. (please dont put the hex on me by saying i should be careful and not have a bump in the first place) LOL

Clayton your club membership number should be all that you have to specify, this is found in your control panel, personal info, edit profile and you should find your membership id number.
Any problems let me know. |

Thanks Emma i have got my mem. no. I will probably run with Livingstones, they seem nice people and very helpful, there are a few outstanding points i will have to clarify with them, one being that they are very keen that the car is garaged overnight, which is fine except when we are on hols. or weekend breaks, when obviously she will be out. i will clarify that one and come back with an answer. again thanks
