I am going to take the Supra (UK 6 SPEED) down to Elvington on 28th of this month to test out my latest Upgrades.

Last time out on a red hot day I was consistantly acheiving 13.1/13.2's 1/4's with the following engine mods:

HKS EVC IV Boost Controller (Hitting about 1.1 BAR)
TRL FCD
Amuse Titanium Exhaust
Denso Iridium IK24's
De-cat
HKS BOV
Apexi Filter/ Cold air box
Aquamist Water Injection.

I have since fitted a Greddy 3 row FMIC with Hard pipe kit and a direct cold feed to the airfilter and I am consistantly running 1.3bar boost regardless of the outside temps. Whats my chances of dipping under 13 seconds mark this time out? I am hopefull, as the car feels more responsive what you guys think? I should at least getter better trap speeds!

Cheers

Kevin

Sorry I cant help with your intial question mate, but are you saying that you have a direct feed from you FMIC to you air filter, there for reducing the temp of the air taken in by the air filter.

Hi Ash, as I have an FMIC fitted to the car, I can now run a tube from the outside world through the gap left by the stock side mounted intercooler and into the custom airbox containing the airfilter.

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks

Kevin

Yep, that makes sense mate, something I should do when my FMIC gets fitted.

I think getting good times out of a 6 speed its all in the launch.

Master that and you'll be on to a winner. Speak to Alex.

Its all about getting a good launch yep indeedy, something my car struggles with a lot! I reckon you might just get into the 12's if you get it all right. Can't wait to try my car out again after TOT2, now I've got the rev limit sorted out and the boost upped its REALLY shifting. Got some more mods coming soon as well....just cant help myself!

Car is going well now I've got the rev limiter sorted out on it, limited my progress somewhat at TOT unfortunately. Went to Silverstone a few weeks back, first time on a track with the latest setup, it gives me great pleasure in overtaking 355's, 360's, 911 turbo's down the straights as if they were standing still! I was hitting 150 down the hangar straight, last time I went there I was getting around 130 so things have progressed a bit! Latest spec if you wanna have a look is on my web site at www.whifbitz.co.uk/mycar.htm
More mods coming soon....

Sounds a bit nippy.

What was the prob with the rev limiter?

Good luck with the motor - you going to pod on the 12th?

Gaz.
