Can anyone help identify this cable for me? As you can see it is from under the back seat and appears to be some kind of coax type cable thats been cut in the past.
Could it be anything to do with the CD player, as that doesn't work..it throws up error codes instead.

Any help much apprieciated ?

If its Coax it won't be for the CD player. Any chance there could of been a mobile phone aerial on the rear of your car sometime ?

Good thinking, there could have been at some point. Thinking about it properly I realised it was unlikely to be an OE cable as toyota don't seem to make a habit of leaving cables loose under seats etc.. more likely as you say to be a 3rd party accessory of some kind fitted at some point in the cars life. I'll have a go at tracing it sometime.
