Mine started smoking right after the final decat (high mileage UK, only fair...)
'seals' I thought, turbo seals most likely. Then it only did it sometimes, just on startup with no pattern. 'stem seals' I thought, some have gone and it depends on which ones happen to be open as the engine stops Now it doesn't do it AT ALL, I don't know what to think Can't complain though, can I?

He didn't even ask for payment (bit iffy really for an hours labour) Anyway my window cleaner recommended a small place in Wareham, so I also went there this morning. They service a couple of supras locally & have replaced the turbos on one so I booked mine in for next Weds. Hopefully they'll not muck me around & be able to competantly get the head off without taking too long about it. Fingers crossed.
