UK Plate
I'm thinking about changing my Jap front number plate to uk because the jap one kinda reminds me of rabbit teeth.
Is it legal to hav a uk front and jap rear? is there a uk plate holder and will it fit into the jap screw holes? |

I don't think there will be any issues about legality.
The number plate holders are different, slightly. Take a look here: http://www.mkivsupraownersclub.com/f...7186#post57186

Mine was a UK car and when I bought a plate holder from Halfrauds it didn't line up exactly. Used a bit of that tile edging used in bathrooms to make an adapter.

Not the plate holder dude. My bro took it. If I remember correctly it was only £10.

I got my Jap front (& rear) number plates from http://www.craigsplates.com
The only place I found that would make a legal Jap plate on one line instead of the usual 2 lines on the massive square plate. It comes with the BSAU 145d and Manufacturer. My plate only measured 380mm x 90mm (UK 520mm x 111mm) It doesn’t quite fit in the Jap mount so I had to cut the top lip off (a craft knife does well and a bit of sanding) I was really pleased with the quality and service. Highly recommended. PS. If you go to him, please say Stephen with the import (& UK) plates recommended him please

Nice Stephen, but I ordered a uk mount today from Mr T and they will do me a plate when I collect.
But I'm liking the small plate, is that totally legal? |
