Odd that the UK mount plate is shorter in length than the Jap.

Yeah, i think that's an improvement, although it didn't look too bad before IMO.

Whats that thing on the front N/S corner of the bumper? A parking sensor?

Yep Laserline parking sensor front left and rear left only....

The Jap version kept making me think of Ken Dodd.

Nope I didn't blank it out, with that much brightness you wouldn't of seen anything.

No the sensors were there when I bought the car.... I know what your thinking, it's not there in the Ken Dodd picture. I'd brushed it out for some reason.
