Default My Single install

In November i started my install project, which i continued over the winter.

The bits i am/will be using are as follows
BL Manifold and DP, Tial 44m WG
Aem Ecu
Aem WB02 and guage
PHR rail
720cc injectors
Currently have a Greddy 2 row FMIC, which i will initially be reusing.
Walbro pump
BL T67 P trim

onto the build..

Car on axle stands, wheels removed for the duration of the build for security (and polishing) purposes, although it appears the car is on bricks, it is in fact on large 3 foot long blocks of wood under the centre section to provide correct working height, and allow access the the exhaust and underside for water and oil drain.

Next i removed the air filter and fmic hard pipe, to give this picture...

Unfortunately, enthusiasm and a need to keep moving and working to stave off frostbite made me forget to take any further pictures, until i got to this stage (all vacuum and boost pipework removed and heatshields off)

Which left me this small pile

few days later i removed the stock twins!

Next stage of work was to remove the inlet manifold, lower runners, pressure tank and fuel pulsation dampener

Lack of pics due to it being freezing and Boxong day!

trial fit of manifold and turbo, excuse the half polished turbo compressor cover

since then i have been buying parts!!!

Looks like we have a thread as candidate for the new 'Projects' section.

It's good to see pics like this as it gives lots of people encouragement, although I sympathise with not working on a car in the freezing cold

Rob, living close to Kev has given me a much better understanding of just how much time and effort goes into these sort of projects, not to mention money. The same as with Kev, I wish you all the very best and I'm sure all your hard work and dedication will be worth it.

Yup the exhaust was the bargain of the century

Looking good mate. What budget are you working to? Or is it a "see how it goes" install?
