Jurgen has just come up with this candidate:

http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/uvl...360&distance=0

This would avoid the time to import and also get me a newer car than I can get on import. (1998 being the latest you can import)

Will be speaking to the dealer tomorrow morning.

LOL, you like buying cars from that part of the UK

Looks interesting, and reckon you should be able to knock them down a bit when you turn up absolutely gutted because of no TRD body kit

Let us know how you get on.

Jurgen doesn't think it's actually going to be an X-reg either if it's a fresh import.

I'd noticed the TRD kit thing as well.

I'll talk to them tomorrow and see what's what.

UK brakes and it hasn't got the foglight cut into the bumper. What year actually is it? I realise it's a facelift but it could've been incorrectly registered by the DLVA, hence why there are a few 02 plate '93 TT's going around . Looks like a nice example.

Edit too slow

The UK brakes were a factory option.

Do you mean the rear bumper?

Indeed they were. What I meant was it's a great option, and something less to shell out on Yes the rear bumper. Some import companies like to flush fit the foglight into the rear bumper which can be a PITA if you ever decide to move it and do the rear brakelight conversion.

That little dangly fog light would be changed very quickly and the fog light integrated into the rear brake light.

Mmmmm, looks tempting against your "wants" list Matt, I can certainly see why your interested, as you say it would do away with the import side of things.

Certainly from the details it merits further investigation, good luck and keep us posted.
