The standard engine is very robust. The first big single 650hp conversion (UK model) we built back in around 1997 had a completely standard engine.

I think that if you are doing a rebuild or a freshen up, depending on your target performance level, it is worth considering uprated pistons, connecting rods, head gasket, fasteners etc.
Thanks for that buddy..

As promised, here are some pictures of the hand made exhaust system.

Our brief was to produce a system capable of supporting over 900hp with as low noise levels as possible.

It's 5" diameter from the downpipe, and splits into two sections (much like the standand system).

Wow that's impressive. I know how tight my 4" set up was. That must have been a nightmare to customise. I take my hat off to you.

That's a nice car. Have you any details on the fan shroud/intake heat shield?

Impressive to say the least.

What are the noise levels like exhaust-wise?

That's the carbon fibre air scoop that we used to offer

The exhaust was actually designed to be very quiet to meet our clients expectations. In fact we gave our client another rear "silencer" without any baffling which could be easily changed over to make it noisier if required
