Default Interesting Supra on Youtube

Here's a video of a 3.4 litre Supra we did a few years ago that has recently undergone another couple of upgrades http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KMx0l...e=channel_page

What do you think guys?

Thumbs up

It never ceases to amaze me how these engines hold together when you actually think about whats going on inside.

Ive watched that 3 times now, very impressive and sounds awesome, almost like a Tomcat jetfigher launching off a carrier

Why are the revs held at peak for so long? Most dyno runs I've seen hit max rpm and then back off immediately.

Thanks for you kind words guys

At around 900hp (flywheel) I suspect that this must be one the most powerful street driven Supras around.

We actually learned a more recently about the 2JZ-GTE, regarding what needs to be done to get this sort of performance and what the limitations of certain high performance components are.

It's a fantastic experience to be able to rely on empiracle data accuracy of 0.5% time after time at almost 800hp at the hubs. It makes our job a whole lot easier.

I'll try and get some pictures of the amazing hand built 5" down pipe and exhaust system for you guys. I think it must be the best system that I have ever seen

Thanks for your encouragement

The standard engine is very robust. The first big single 650hp conversion (UK model) we built back in around 1997 had a completely standard engine.

I think that if you are doing a rebuild or a freshen up, depending on your target performance level, it is worth considering uprated pistons, connecting rods, head gasket, fasteners etc.
