Interesting reading folks. Especially what Martin said.

I guess that 1.4 Bar is around the sensible max for the hybrids then?

And a lightened flywheel I don't think isn't going to help with inital spool up.
What it will do - is a more faster revving engine as the flywheel has alot lighter rotational mass.

But you're gearbox will sound like it's got ball bearings in it.

Stick to stock.

This is what I have always heard, 1.4 is good, and for track days maybe push it to 1.5.......

I was just interested to see if Hybrids do produce more power above that, which I think we have discovered it doesnt

Tis a pity as I think the Sequential system is quite a nice touch...

I could you could go hybrid for a basic car for reliability, ie just to get the turbos built slightly stronger.

In this case go for twins instead of a single :P

Can i ask then what is the main difference between going single & hybrids with regards to differing parts needed?
