Vehicle Loyalty Club Card.

After chatting to my local Toyota garage today, I discovered that they have now discontinued the Loyalty card which gave people 20% off parts and 40% off labour.
As from the 1st of May 2009 the discount on parts are only applicable when used in conjunction with Toyota's servicing side of things. Ie cam belts etc (unless you're going to pay Mr.T to change your headlights!)

I tried to explain that my car wasn't exactly stock and that I doubt any of their mechanics could alter my map/change my turbo seals.
I'm in two minds about taking it down there for a laugh, maybe get them to quote me on changing my exhaust manifold gasket, or something that involves the turbo

Yeah, they now have a new scheme which is no doubt designed to reduce customer benefits and keep a few more quid in their pocket.

Seems like it's geared toward tying people in with regular servicing.
